A calm look at the people who share your child's days here.

A woman sits on the floor hugging a child in an orange shirt while a girl holding colorful blocks stands nearby and another child plays with blocks in the background.

Premier Early Childhood Blog

Our blog is where we write about early childhood education. You'll find classroom resources, like songs and picture books that build language, and expert perspectives on why play matters. Read about what children learn when they pour water, sort leaves, or wait for a turn. Use these ideas at home to support your child's growing mind.

What this looks like in practice

At Kidsfirst Learning Center in Parma Heights, the team works in steady rhythms. Teachers sit at low tables, not above them, so their eyes meet a child's. They ask questions that invite a second sentence. Families are received at the door and told one true thing about the day. You can ask about specific hours, ages, and program details first.

That steady attention matters beyond the classroom. Children learn to trust one or two familiar adults, and that trust travels home. You may see your child wait a little longer, or use words when upset. You may hear a song from school at the dinner table. These are small signs that the team's care is holding.
